6. The Way Of The Cross

One way is to apply the principles from a passage like this with one's own personal power. The other way is to discipline ourselves to follow Jesus as a close friend and cooperate with His grace at work in us. The result of our cooperation with this inside-out work is real transformation. This is to be our common experience of a people who live in God's Kingdom.

If (Since) God is building something, we need to think about three questions. What is God building? How is God building what He is building? Why is God building what He is building?
2. Making Progress with your Salvation
• June 13th, 2011This morning we begin in 1Peter 1:10 and look at what Peter says about spiritual growth and how he connects it to appropriating the grace necessary for spiritual growth. The reason why we want to progress with our salvation is so that we become more and more like Jesus. Peter also gives us some powerful images to consider when you ask the question. What does it actually look like to become more like Jesus?
